Bachelor's
Degree students may select to write a Research
Project as a form of meeting some course requirements.
Master's
Degree students will be required to write
a Thesis. In a degree program requiring practicum,
this thesis requirement may be waived. Students
enrolled in a Masters/Doctoral program may
also qualify for a waiver of this requirement.
Doctoral
Degree students will be required to write
a Dissertation. Students enrolled in a Professional
Doctoral Program/Academic Program may request
a waiver of dissertation on their Professional
program in lieu of practicum. If their professional
doctoral program is a Terminating Degree they
will be required to write a dissertation.
Students, upon consultation with their Academic
Advisor, will select a topic for research
which will be directly related to the student's
major in his or her program.
